Parkour seems like one of the more consequence heavy sports out there. I mean, these guys are jumping off buildings onto more buildings or concrete streets. If they fall, they’re falling hard. Apparently Dominic Di Tommaso can take it, though.
I’m not sure that all of those wipeouts were accidents. Some of them (like the one in the tree) just seem like they had to have been planned failures. But I’m not in his head, and I’m certainly not a professional parkour athlete, so I don’t know what he’s thinking.
I just keep thinking about the surgeries he’ll need later in life. Even if he avoids injury, he’ll probably need some serious knee replacements, hip replacements, and everything else replacements. You do you, I guess.
