When you think of park ranger doing traffic control, your mind probably goes to a packed parking lot during peak tourism season but the folks who work at Glacier National Park are also adept a directing foot traffic away from the park’s resident grizzlies. You can hear hikers on Hidden Lake Trail thanking the ranger for taking control of the situation and keeping them out of harms way. Great job by this ranger!

“At Hidden Lake Overlook, we saw this grizzly bear slowly approaching to us. Even with the park ranger yelling at him, he wouldn’t leave. That was a pretty awesomely scary moment.”
