The most legendary sports trophy is making a stop at Whitefish Mountain Resort tomorrow.

On Friday, December 29th, from 10 a.m. to 11:30 a.m., the Stanley Cup Ā® will be available for the public to check out. The Cup will be situated on the third floor of the base lodge. No tickets are required, and viewing it is free.

The Stanley CupĀ® is heading to Whitefish because the Montana ski resort and the Vegas Golden Knights are owned by Foley Entertainment Group.

The Cup has made prior visits to Whitefish, with Bruins Assistant Coach Doug Houda bringing it there in 2011.
