A family’s recent vacation to an adventure park in Monterrey, Mexico took a terrifying turn when their 6-year-old child suffered a harrowing accident on a zip line. The incident, captured on video by the boy’s brother, J Cesar Sauceda, almost ended in tragedy.
In the footage, the young boy can be seen gliding along the zip line with an adult companion. As they approach the end of the line, they suddenly come to a halt, and without warning, the child plummets approximately 40 feet to the ground below. Expressing his gratitude for his brother’s survival, Sauceda shares the video, accompanied by a heartfelt message: “I am incredibly thankful to God for saving my brother’s life in this terrible accident caused by the poor equipment and inadequate training of the staff operating the zip line.”
According to reports, the accident occurred due to a malfunctioning harness, raising concerns about the park’s safety protocols. Sauceda further criticizes the establishment, stating, “This incident highlights the park’s subpar service, faulty installations, and, most importantly, the insufficient training of its staff. I sincerely hope that this serves as a wake-up call for the entire facility to prioritize safety improvements.”
As of now, Expedición Amazonia has not issued an official statement regarding the incident. The park’s management faces mounting pressure to address the concerns raised and take appropriate actions to prevent such incidents from happening in the future.
