“So many new jumpers come into this sport thinking it is all about go pro’s and social media and they forget the fundamentals of how serious and dangerous this sport can be if respect is not given to every aspect of it. I am glad i saved some ones life but each jumper must have the ability to save their own on each and every jump.”

It’s hard to imagine the level of personal negligence involved in not properly putting on a B.A.S.E. jumping rig before leaping off a bridge but this absent minded dude nearly did the unthinkable. Thankfully a nearby BASE instructor noticed he hadn’t hooked into his leg straps and got him over the rail before an almost certainly fatal mishap.
