If you’ve purchased a paddle board from Costco, it may have just been recalled. ABC 27 WHTM reports that the United States Consumer Product Safety Commission has issued a recall for a set of paddle boards that were sold exclusively at Costco. The glue on the inflatable boards can separate at the seams, making them deflate and fall apart, which creates a drowning hazard.

The boards that are being recalled include Body Glove Tandem Inflatable Stand-Up Paddle Boards, ULI Inventor Inflatable Paddle Boards, ULI Zettian Inflatable Supyaks, and ULI Lila Inflatable Supyaks. For those who purchased it, Costco notified each individual who bought one.

The official recall alert from the United States Consumer Product Safety Commission is below.

Name of Product: Body Glove Tandem Inflatable Stand Up Paddle Board, ULI Inventor Inflatable Paddle Board, ULI Zettian Inflatable Supyak, and ULI Lila Inflatable Supyak
Hazard: The glue on the inflatable paddle boards can separate at the seams and the paddle boards can deflate unexpectedly, posing a drowning hazard.
Remedy: Refund
Recall Date: December 29, 2022
Units: About 13,300 (In addition, about 7,000 of the Body Glove Boards were sold in Canada)
