It’s a tale as old as time.

A park skier makes it to the highest level of their respective discipline and then transitions into big mountain/freeride/backcountry skiing for their second act. It’s a natural career path at this point.

Such is the case with Aaron Blunck, who appears in the short film by Forecast Ski Magazine below.

Blunck competed in the men’s halfpipe at the 2014 Winter Olympic games in Sochi at just 18 years old.
