Solitude Mountain Resort (Utah) has just announced that they will open for the season on Friday, November 11th!

It marks their earliest opening day since 2013.

The resort has yet to announce which lifts and terrain will be open, but guests should expect fantastic conditions as mother nature has been and will continue to slam Utah with snow.

Solitude picked up 14 inches over the last 72 hours, has seen 45 inches already on the season, and meteorologist Chris Tomer is predicting another 24+ inches to fall before the end of next week.

Here are the details we know so far about Solitude’s opening day plans:

“Our opening day party has become tradition. Starting at 8:00 a.m., we’ll be serving free donuts while a DJ cranks the excitement to 11 and keeps the party rolling. As always, opening day is dependent on conditions, so stay tuned for lift and terrain updates in the days leading up to opening day – and think snow!

In observance of Veteran’s Day, Solitude is offering free lift tickets to all active-duty, reserve, retired, and veteran military personnel. Parking will be free for all November 11 to November 17. Moonbeam Express and Link Lift will run from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. with access to Same Street, Little Dollie, and Easy Street. Moonbeam Lodge cafeteria will be open, and rentals will be available on the lower level of Moonbeam.”
