Valuable winter survival lessons taught by Les Stroud as he casually takes a winter hike through the woods with his survival consultants (a pair of black labs), pointing out things someone should be looking for if you have to hunker down and find overnight shelter. Hopefully these lessons will never come into practice but I highly recommend spending the 30 minutes watching this video for a quick overview on locating emergency shelter locations in a winter setting.
