Ahh. There’s nothing pettier than two dad’s having a suburban showdown over something trivial. It’s even better when that argument turns into blasting each other with snow blowers the day after a big snow storm.
Both are probably just trying to assert their dominance over the other. They want to establish their territory, and aren’t afraid to send some snow flying to do so.
This battle was caught on camera by a bystander looking out of her home’s window. What a show this must have been to witness in person.
I hope that I grow up to be a suburban dad with a petty adversary that lives next door. We can argue over how long each other’s grass is, throw insults as we get into our cars, pull off the occasional prank, talk to our wives about each other, and have snow blower wars.
We’ll pretend like we hate each other, but deep down we love the rivalry.
