Driving through Yellowstone National Park can be hazardous due to the park’s large bison population. The animals are known to block highways, stampede over bridges, and even ram into vehicles when they feel threatened.
Such was the case in the video below.
The silver Mazda got a little too-close-for-comfort for this mama bison, and she delivered a powerful head-butt to make sure everybody knows that she means business.
Do you think insurance will cover this? 🤔
“This large bison was standing still in the middle of the road, so cars stopped in both directions with plenty of room between them and the bison. Along comes another bison from the valley, up to the road, much closer to car. The larger bison then decides to walk over to the smaller (yet still large) bison. That’s when this happened. Just think if he really put all his force into the ram. Luckily no one was hurt, not even the bison.”
“Hi. This is Jake From State Farm. How can I help you?”
“Yeah. Hey Jake. That’s funny. You’re real? Yeah so uh… my car just got rammed by a bison in Yellowstone National Park. I need to submit a claim.”
“I’m not that Jake, but yeah I get that all of the time….Happy to help you with your claim. I just need to know- was there any footage of the incident? State Farm has a special policy that denies coverage to anybody acting like an idiot in Yellowstone National Park.”
“Uh… well… I did drive pretty close… *driver’s wife can be heard telling him to shut up*, Uh… Jake. Can I call you back?”
