“There’s still local stuff I want to do in the Whites, and there are trails in Europe. There’s still trails out in the U.S. There’s always stuff, stuff to rehike. The Arizona trails — they have gorgeous trails — it’d be great to hike again. Lots of stuff to discover still.” –Arlette Lann
Hats off to Arlette Lann who is is now the first woman to complete all 11 National Scenic Trails. FOX11 reports Lann finished her incredible feat Monday after hiking the entirety of the Ice Age Trail in Wisconsin. Total distance of the 11 National Scenic Trails…19,000 miles. Incredible. Arlette isn’t gonna hang up her hiking boots just yet as she wants to complete the White Mountains in New Hampshire, then head across the pond to hike around Europe. Cheers to Arlette!
