A fast-moving flash flood was caught on camera by a bystander near the Lunch Loops mountain biking trail system near Grand Junction, CO.

The video starts with a dry river bed, but the raging waters and debris fill up the bed quickly as they pass the bystander.

This is why you should always heed warnings about strong rainstorms during monsoon season in the American southwest. Just a little burst of rain can dramatically change the landscape and turn into a dangerous flash flood.
