A Vermont family’s security camera captured their German Shepherd playing with a black bear in their backyard. It doesn’t look like the bear was agitated by the dog even though he goes up on his hind legs.
I’m not really sure what I would do if I stumbled across my dog casually playing with a bear in the backyard. Do you call your dog back inside or just let it play out and hope for the best? What if the dog befriends the bear and keeps coming back? Is that a good thing, or a bad thing? I honestly don’t know.
