Excellent news for all you east coast skiers and snowboarders, Killington Ski Resort just announced their latest closing weekend in 25 years (in 1997 they were open until June 22nd). They will be spinning the Superstar Express Quad on Saturday, June 4th and if conditions permit will be open for a final day on Sunday, June 5th. Lift tickets will be $79 for adults at the window with 50% of the weekend’s proceeds being donated to Pride Center VT. Free commemorative t-shirts will be available on Saturday while supplies last. “Ready for June? The Beast sure is, and Superstar is holding strong. Send it with us for one more summer weekend, kicking off Saturday, June 4, for the latest closing weekend since June 1997. Our grooming team will be working hard to patch any weaker spots that pop up over the next few days with the goal of continuous top to bottom skiing & riding, but walking will be required to get on and off the lift. Plus, 50% of ticket proceeds will be donated to Pride Center of Vermont to mark the start of Pride Month.”
