We have a classic skier vs. ski patrol situation on our hands this morning. The video below shows a skier ducking a rope at Mt. Sunapee, NH after a 13″ storm, and getting confronted by a ski patroller for doing it.

The skier claims that the trail should have been opened, and while I tend to agree with him, he still ducked a rope.

Was the trail not opened because Mt. Sunapee has been struggling with mismanagement by Vail Resorts all season? Well, probably. Should he have ducked the rope? No. Should he have his passed pulled for doing it? I’ll let you answer that question.

Check out the full video below. He ducks the rope at 00:05 mark of the video, and runs into the ski patroller at the 01:56 mark.
