How To Shower In The Coldest Place On Earth (-95°F)

Yakutsk, Russia is considered to be the coldest inhabited place on Earth. Temperatures regularly dip well below 0°F, and the people who live there have to adapt to the climate.

The video below shows a man who lives in Yakut Village, and it documents how he bathes on a weekly basis. Having hot water for the village steam room/shower requires him to chop wood, harvest ice, and brave the elements.

Nothing is easy when you live in a place where temps can dip as low as -95°F…

Kiun B: “We all have our daily habits and routines. In the morning we get up, take a shower, wash our teeth, and have breakfast. But the daily routine in the coldest place on Earth is something different…”
