It’s been a sensational Olympics for Roxbury, Connecticut native Lindsey Jacobellis. She is the most decorated athlete ever in snowboard cross, winning ten X-games competitions, and is also a five-time world champion. But winning Olympic gold has been something that has illuded her for sixteen years, with her best finish being fourth in the 2018 Snowboard Cross final in Pyeongchang. That was until last week when she won Gold in Snowboard Cross. The final portion of the run is below, and you can watch the full run here.

After Lindsey Jacobellis took home Olympic gold in the Snowboard Cross earlier last week, she then partnered with Nick Baumgartner in the mixed team Snowboard cross. They dominated the first-ever event in the Olympics, winning gold. The ending to their run is below, and you can watch their full run here. One of the most impressive aspects is their age: Lindsey is thirty-six years old, while Nick just turned forty. Congrats Lindsey to your two gold medals, and Nick for your first!
