Kings and Queens of Corbet’s, America’s most acclaimed freeride ski and snowboard competition is back. The weather window is locked in and sometime next week (2/12-2/18) new skiing/snowboarding royalty will be crowned. When they are, they’ll be able to celebrate with a new custom collaboration beer from local brewer, Roadhouse Brewing Company

Held at the most famed couloir in North America, Kings and Queens of Corbet’s brings together some of the world’s best freeride skiers and snowboarders for a one-day no-limits competition. Roadhouse Brewing is recognizing these world-class athletes with a custom brew designed for optimal refreshment.

Kings & Queens Beer Made for Drinkability

Roadhouse Brewing Company is teaming up with the acclaimed Kings & Queens of Corbet’s freeride ski and snowboard competition once again by dedicating a Kings & Queens Beer for the annual invitational at Jackson Hole Mountain Resort. This year their custom brew is a 5% ABV Kolsch that’s lightly fruity and crisp.

“For this year’s iteration of Kings and Queens, we wanted to focus on one our favorite parts of beer – drinkability,” says Roadhouse Brewing’s Brewmaster Max Shafer. “We brewed a light and crushable Kolsch hopped with Bru-1 hops to bring out a smooth delicate bitterness with hints of peach and pineapple. Kolsch is a style of beer that is meant to be sessioned and enjoyed over a long period of time – courtesy of lower alcohol levels. We hope that after a long and grueling day, spectators, the athletes and anyone else looking for a quenching and smooth beer can enjoy this Kolsch well into the night while reliving those big moments from an epic day.”

There is no doubt that after pushing the boundaries in a competition as renowned as this one, the athletes will be craving something as refreshing as this beer. As for the spectators, well, this is also the ideal brew for watching. Light and refreshing with a low ABV it’s and excellent day drinking beer. This way you will actually still be able to watch the competition all day and make it out to party with the winners that night.
