Does anybody else think that the western half of The United States is still, even just a little bit, wild?!

I know that might be a bit of a naïve statement, but there are some really wild things that westerners can do that just aren’t possible on the East Coast.

Let me ask a question to prove my point- How many abandoned railway tracks do you know of lying around in the hustle and bustle of the eternally suburban east coast of the US? I’m sure there’s going to be one of you that knows dozens of them, but I spent my whole life living around Philadelphia and all of those damn railway tracks are in use.

Riding an abandoned railway track through picturesque desert wilderness on a homemade powered-cart is something only possible west of the Mississippi River, and it’s really damn cool.
