There aren’t many opportunities to snag 1500 acres of land with access to multiple bodies of water and skiing for just over a million dollars. But there are still a few surprises out there, especially in Maine. Located just outside of the town of Lee, Maine, this piece of real estate is a 1503 acre property priced at $1,125,000. The only modifications to the land have been some dirt roads that connect the various parts of the wilderness. The land accesses a lake, two different ponds, and multiple brooks and streams. Outside of the original purpose of timber harvesting, the opportunities seem really endless with this land: building a house, building a nordic, snowmobile, or ATV trail network, hunting, various water activities, building various cabins for Airbnb and overnight guests and even setting up a surface lift on one of the surrounding hills. In terms of skiing, Mt. Jefferson Ski Area is just a ten-minute drive away.
With this being in an unnamed township, there are some caveats to this one. There are no power lines that connect the land to the outside world, meaning you would have to add your own power lines or add solar panels. There is also no gas, sewage, or well on site. No house has been constructed on the land either. So a lot of work is still needed, but this really is a dream opportunity. You can view the land here.
