Kajsa Vickhoff Lie of Norway fell while competing in the world cup super-g event at Val di Fassa, Italy last season. The fall was absolutely brutal and you can clearly hear her scream in agony as she slams into the safety barricades. You can also see that her leg is broken.
Let this video serve as a reminder that ski racing is no joke. I know people like to make fun of the speed suits, but these skiers are literally risking their lives every time they bomb a course. Crazy.
