Mount Timothy Ski Area is an under-the-radar British Columbia ski destination, but it still offers a great product for families and intermediate skiers. The mountain features thirty runs, four lifts, a terrain park, access to an immense snowmobiling network of trails, and mountainside cabin lodging. According to The Williams Lake Tribune, multiple changes are currently underway to improve the skier experience for this upcoming season. Four new overnight cabins were constructed during the offseason and will be open for ski season. The cabins come in two sizes: “one designed for seven people featuring a queen bed, bunk bed and futon, and one that sleeps four with a single queen bed and futon. All amenities are included except bedding.” Their rental lodge was renovated, with a new log-covered exterior. A new exterior ticket kiosk has been added outside of their base lodge.

The mountain will also be featured on the B.C. Global News snow report for the first time ever. Covid-19 restrictions still apply, but it does not appear the mountain will go as far as requiring vaccine passports as places like Grouse Mountain near Vancouver. The mountain is expected to open in Mid-December but could open sooner if there is frequent snowfall.
