According to wildlife officials, there are fewer than 600 wild Siberian tigers left in the world so seeing one is a truly rare event.

The few Siberian tigers reside mostly in Russian’s Far East. That is where motorists Sergey Popov spotted a tiger lying in the middle of the road.  As the car approached, the animal stood up and stared down the vehicle before starting to run alongside for a bit, much to the delight of those in the car.
