We’ve had a lot of coverage of the elk rut in Yellowstone lately, and it’s mostly because people are idiots and can’t stop putting their lives in danger for a sweet picture on their social media accounts.
Today, we have a video of park rangers audibly shouting through megaphones at park guests to stay in their cars as a large bull elk makes his way around Mammoth Hot Springs.
We’ve already shared a couple of videos of people actually getting charged by bull elk in the same location, so it’s no surprise that these rangers are on high alert to keep people away. Turn your volume up and you can clearly hear the ranger threatening to issue guests $200 citations for getting out of their cars.
Thank god for Park Rangers. They must have one of the best jobs in the world, but dealing with idiots on a daily basis has to be exhausting…
