Kind of a weird video, but it’s one of those things that’s really only possible with the invention of action sports cameras like GoPros.
Apparently a hiker found a GoPro sitting in the melting snow in Wyoming back in June. The GoPro was obviously dead, but he charged it up once he got home and scanned the SD card to attempt to identify whom the device belonged to.
It’s unclear if he found out who owned the GoPro, but he did find a hilarious video of a bear who discovered the camera and managed to turn it on while he was rummaging around with it. The majority of the video is the bear just trying to figure out if he can eat the thing, but I couldn’t help to laugh at how ridiculous this whole ordeal was.
It’s just kind of surreal that we live in a world where somebody can lose their camera skiing in deep snow and it can survive the elements, and even a bear gnawing on it for a little while. 2021 baby. It ain’t all that bad.
“This GoPro had been sitting in the snow for a long time. When I finally found it, I charged it up and couldn’t believe what I saw. After four months of it sitting there, a big old black bear found it and not only managed to turn it on but also started recording himself playing with it. Hands down the craziest thing I’ve seen!”
