Young people in China are discovering the joys of surfing at an increasing rate, thanks in part to restrictions on foreign travel in the wake of the Coronavirus pandemic. Despite international travel restrictions, tourism revenues in areas such as Hainan Island are now higher than pre-pandemic. BBC China correspondent Stephen McDonell travelled to Hainan Island to report on the boom.
