“I’ve had some successes in my BMX and mountain-bike career, riding in the Olympics, winning world-championship titles, but to personally do a trick for yourself and to claim a world’s first, it’s really rewarding.”

Congratulations to 30-year-old Australian rider Caroline Buchanan who just made history at the Audi Nines MTB by becoming first woman to do a front flip on a mountain bike.

Thanks for all the love. A bit of a backstory learning the front flip I had landed about 6 to an airbag back home in Australia in the lead up to Audi Nines. I had posted a reel video to the airbag a few weeks ago on my backyard set up which is a longer jump. I knew for this bottom trick jump being shorter id have to pull back off the lip harder and to snap it around and get the height!! It felt freakin amazing to land it to dirt.
