I posted about Sam Pilgrim riding the wacky Street Surfer bike in a skatepark bowl a couple of weeks ago, and he’s now ventured onto some MTB trails with the unique five-wheeled bike.

In case you didn’t read the last blog, the Street Surfer was a bike made in the 90s that uses four wheels in the front that pivot as the rider shifts his weight. The result is a carving feeling similar to skateboarding or surfing.

This bike definitely wasn’t made to be ridden off trail, but it’s sure as hell fun to watch one of the world’s best mountain bikers try to make sense of it.

The street surfer is no longer in production, but you can find a couple of them for sale across the internet.

Some guy has been trying to sell his on OfferUp for over 2 years. He’s only asking $95 for it. Not a bad deal if you’re in the area and want to goof around on this unique one-of-a-kind bike. Check it out here.
