You hear the phrase “thats the most Colorado thing ever” thrown around all the time but this 110 year old tradition of climbing a 450 foot high rock tower in Colorado National Monument to plant a flag on the 4th of July might actually be. Hats off to the first responders from Mesa County who honored the longstanding tradition, made the climb and raised Old Glory. Hell yeah!
