Werrong Beach, New South Wales, Australia

We got a weird story from down unda’ for you this afternoon.

USA Today is reporting that two nude Australian men had to be rescued by State Emergency Services after they became lost in a National Park south of Sydney on Sunday.

The men were nude sunbathing on a beach when they reportedly became started by a herd of deer and fled into the park. They then realized they were lost and called emergency services for rescue.

They were both fined 1,000 Australian dollars ($759 USD) for violating a stay-at-home order in Sydney due to recent COVID-19 outbreak.

The police commissioner of the region spoke to media blasting the sunbathers for breaking the stay-at-home order and diverting resources for their rescue. He said:

“Clearly putting people at risk by leaving home without a proper reason, … then getting lost in the national park and diverting important resources away from the health operation, I think they should be embarrassed,”

I don’t really have any funny take or angle on this story. I think the fact that two dudes got lost in the woods while naked because they were “startled” by deer is funny itself.

Hope they packed their sunscreen 😆
