Gnarly footage from northern China where a skier fell dozens of feet from a chairlift at Wanlong Ski Resort located roughly 120 miles northwest of Beijing. The footage has been widely circulated on the Chinese social media platform Weibo but I could only find the video on NewsWeek. An unnamed official quoted from the news outlet Feidian reported skier who fell had been changing seats on the moving chairlift when he sat on another passenger’s lap and slipped off the chair. Not 100% certain but that lift looks a quad and there were five skiers on it? The skier was taken to a hospital and reportedly no critical injuries. The extent of the skier’s injuries was not disclosed. Not sure how much of this story I’m believing, how about you?
