We’re heeding warnings from across the PNW and Northern Rockies of extremely dangerous tree well hazards due to the copious amounts of snow that have fallen on the region. Some ski areas have seen more than 70″ of snow in the last 3 weeks.

Whether you’re planning on skiing in that area anytime soon, or not, it’s good to refresh on what to do if you get caught in a tree well.

The most important tip of all?

Stay away from trees when tree well dangers are present, it’s that simple.
