Is there anything more terrifying than falling from the chairlift when you’re at the ski resort? I guess getting caught in an avalanche, but that can only happen at select resorts out west. Falling off a chairlift is a universal problem that could happen to anybody.
This video was taken 2/16/20 at Diamond Peak Ski Resort on the Ridge Chair. Bystanders rushed to the boy’s aid using resort fencing as a net and caught him! Incredible job by them to think so quickly before ski patrol could get there with the appropriate gear.
Looks like the kid was alright and had no injuries. Kudos again to those that were quick-thinking using the fence to catch him.
