Not to get to preachy but this serves as a great reminder to pocket that selfie stick when you’re whipping through glades and concentrate your entire facilities to the moment. The following incident was filmed in Park City where Youtuber Andrew Muse was “Jamming through the trees filming with GoPro’s new 360 camera, the GoPro MAX when I got bucked and hit a tree going too fast. At least I was filming.” After the impact Muse suspected his Fibula and knee were compromised and decided to self evac rather than call ski patrol.  Traditionally ski bum type people try not to call ski patrol when injured not as a badge of honor, rather to avoid the added expense of an ambulance ride to the hospital but when this dude made it out of the woods he went straight to them for a dramatic on hill splint application. Finally the ski patroller asks them to stop filming inside the vehicle and we are left with an x-ray image of his busted leg. Lots to learn here.
