Mount Bohemia, located in the northernmost part of Michigan’s Upper Peninsula, has announced that they will open on January 22, 2021! Powder hounds rejoice!
The entire Midwest has seen below-average snowfall. Mount Bohemia does not utilize snowmaking equipment (or grooming) to provide an extreme skiing experience, and has been forced to delay their opening, until now!
Boho has posted to their website that they’re expecting “Waves of lake-effect snow starting this weekend. Enough snow should fall by opening day January 22.”
Congrats to the ‘Yoopers’ who have been holding on for their pride and joy to open. Here’s to hoping February, March, and April are filled with powder, smiles, pastys, and plenty of beer.
