Great news if you call Vail your home mountain….temps have dropped, snow guns are firing and they are calling for a November 20th opening day. If you plan on getting out for some turns on the first day, don’t forget you’ll need to utilize their new reservation system to secure a spot on the mountain. It will be interesting how this season plays out with systems like this designed to thin crowds being implemented at resorts across the country. Could be irritating one day and a blessing in disguise the next. TBD.
