Dean Nichopoulos was Elvis Presley’s personal racquetball coach and is recognized as one of the foremost authorities of The Kings’s life. Here he is on stage telling the story of Elvis and his buddies using garbage can lids to go down ski slopes at 2:30AM somewhere in Colorado, ending up with Elvis in the back of an ambulance with a ski mask on. No idea where in Colorado this took place but the house was between one Michael Landon’s and one I think Gerald Ford’s daughter Susan owned, if there’s anyone that remembers that era and could fill us in please do.
