Thanks to our Skiing Weatherman, Chris Tomer, for breaking down the complex shifting of the weather pattern out west and giving us his predictions of where you’ll need to button your powder skirt.
“Weekly snow forecast by On the Snow meteorologist Chris Tomer: The jet stream is shifting north and will leave most of the Intermountain West abnormally dry this weekend. The exception is the Pacific Northwest and British Columbia where the moisture feed continues. Big pattern change occurs early next week with a big dip in the jet stream. Colder air and heavy snow accumulations return to most of the West.”
