Sean Brennan, 37, passed away on Thursday at Alta Ski Area. Brennan was found unconscious and unresponsive in deep snow near a tree in the “Sunspot” area of the resort at around 2:30 p.m.
First responders arrived at the scene after a 911 call was placed. He was taken to Alta Medical Clinic where he was later declared dead.
Investigators are working with the medical examiner to determine the cause of death, but at this point, Brennan’s death appears to be accidental.
