An ultra-light plane struck a ski lift on Sunday in Prato Valentino, northern Italy. Two people were inside, one was ejected and the other was trapped inside the plane, which was suspended upside-down on the chairlift cable.

The first victim was rescued and taken to Sondalo Hospital, while the second victim was removed from the cabin during a fairly complex operation, apparently unscathed.
