It’s the month of August, yet there’s still snow on Mt Washington’s Tuckerman Ravine. This image, from August 4, 2019, was shot by the Mount Washington Observatory.

“Since we are socked in the clouds this morning here is an image from our Wildcat webcam looking into Tuckerman Ravine and its final vestigial of snow. It will probably melt sometime in the next few days, but making it to August is impressive!”
