A vessel traveling close to a Dutch beach has caused panic among bathers on June 30. At least seven people were pulled into the water. Three people, including two children of 3 and 5 years old, were taken to the hospital for ingesting to much water.

Rien Schrier lives on the boulevard and saw the ship coming in from the prison tower at high speed and close to the beach. That green ship was going so fast, you could tell from everything that it was going to go wrong. We didn’t have enough time to warn the people on the beach. That’s the thing. There’s nothing more you can do at that moment.”

The Dutch authority responsible for waterways has pressed charges against the company following the incident that occurred on June 30, 2019, in Flissingen, The Netherlands.
