If you’re not a climber Rifle Mountain Park located in Rifle, Colorado may not be familiar but year in year out the tiny park draws an international crowd seeking the best limestone sport climbing in North America.
While it might not be the most picturesque park, it does have over 500 bolted routes which can keep any climber busy all summer into fall and its easy to understand why folks on ropes migrate to Rifle every year:
