It was scary, I just was really very nervous about the fact that he was threatening to do my dog harm, and if we made noise, if we yelled out, that he was gonna use it on us. Missing hiker Sheryl Powell sat down with GMA to open up about her harrowing ordeal in California’s White Mountains. Sheryle and her husband, Joe Powell, arrived at a remote camp site in Bristlecone Pine Forest Friday July 12th. After they had set up camp Joe went to move the couple’s Jeep and when he returned Sheryl and their dog Miley had vanished. Joe feared for the worst until Sheryl was found alive Monday 15th with a terrifying story to tell:
