A delinquent bear in Boulder, Colorado spent Independence Day breaking into a car and taking it for a joy ride.
According to the Boulder County Sheriff’s office, on the 4th of July a bear unlocked the door to a Subaru and climbed in. While in the car the bear knocked the car into neutral sending the car rolling down a driveway. A 100 ft later the out of control car smashed into a tree, totaling the Subie. The crash apparently popped a door open, and allowed the bear to flee the scene.
