If you’re anxious to get on a trail system after an epic winter we ask that you be patient and obey trail closures. Lots of trails in Colorado are still soupy with mud and hiking/biking them before they dry out can cause longterm damage.  Park officials politely ask you to wait and aren’t hesitating to hand out citation ($150 a pop) if you don’t follow their polite request. Do the right thing:
