Avalanches are still ripping out across the state of Colorado. The Colorado Avalanche Center is reporting 83 avalanches so far in the month of May with 11 being reported just this past weekend.
Conditions across the state are largely moderate, but as an avalanche forecaster once told me, “You might think twice if I told you that your chance of being put in a life threatening situation stepping into at bar was “moderate”.
