Rocky Mountain National Park official have confirmed significant avalanche danger after multiple large avalanches were reported in the park Saturday. According to a press release from RMNP there were seven known individuals who were involved in avalanche activity above Emerald Lake. They are accounted for and there are no known significant injuries.

***RMNP officials are advising backcountry visitors not to travel on or below steep snow-covered terrain at the park.
