A drunken argument between two brothers at a Park City hotel ended in gunfire early on Sunday.

Christopher Leahy Head, 32, has been arrested after he shot his brother during an argument. Head was booked into the Summit County Jail at about 3 a.m. on charges of attempted murder, two counts of felony discharge of a firearm, five counts of reckless endangerment, three counts of domestic violence in the presence of a child, carrying a weapon while under the influence of alcohol, and intoxication.

The incident occurred at the Westgate Hotel on Canyons Resort Drive in Park City, UT. According to Summit County Jail report, Head’s 35-year-old brother was shot in the right buttocks. The report goes on to state that according to witnesses, Head and his brother were arguing because the brother wanted to leave.

The brother was taken to a hospital in Salt Lake City to be treated for his injury.

Several children, ages 14, 2 and 3 weeks, were asleep or nearby at the time of the shooting.

Head was being held Sunday on $100,000 bail.
